More Tok on the Clock
TikTok just rolled out the ability to publish videos up to 3 min in length, vs the1 min limit it had before. Their reasoning behind the extension was to give creators more flexibility while filming and limit the need for multi-part posts.
TikTok has seen success due to it's videos being so easily digestible. Will this hinder them?
With just about everything on YouTube being over 10min now-a-days, you could assume that TikTok's algorithm is also based on View Retention. So longer videos means longer app usage.
Oh, and they are also now letting you submit video resumes to companies through TikTok.
About three dozen companies are taking part in a pilot that allows people in the US to apply for positions by tagging videos they upload using the #TikTokResumes hashtag.
The company says it "believes there's an opportunity to bring more value to people's experience with TikTok by enhancing the utility of the platform as a channel for recruitment."
